 The 2nd International Conference ICT Solutions for Justice was held on 24 September 2009 in the Club of State Organs of the Republic of Macedonia. The conference was opened by the Vice President of the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Jani Makraduli, Lord Richard Best and the President of ISIE, Mr. Miso Dokmanovic.
The conference brought together over 50 experts from the EU and Macedonia who discussed the potentials for sharing experiences in increasing the efficiency of national judicial systems and corresponding trends in the world.
ICT4Justice was organized under FP7 program of the European Commission in cooperation with the South East European Research Centre in Thessaloniki, the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia, Ministry of Information Society and the Secretariat for European Affairs.

The Institute for Strategic Research and Education in partnership with the Center for Intellectual Property Education of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje and the South East Europe Research Center in Thessaloniki is organizing the 2nd International Conference on ICT Solutions for Justice. The conference will be held in Skopje on 24 September 2009. 
The Secretary of ISIE, Mr. Zoran Hristovski was invited to participate at the conference “European Defence Capabilities” held in Prague on 22-23 January 2009. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic as a part of the programme of the Czech Presidency of the European Union and the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies. 
As a part of the Balkan Case Challenge project, a workshop on the use of the case study method in the teaching process was held at the Faculty of law, Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje on 10 February 2009. Over 35 professors and teaching assistants in the field of law, business and economy as well as university management staff from the public universities in Macedonia attended the workshop.
